Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet TSI [Car Review]

Drivin' the Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet is really easy. The ergonomic functions are easy to control and as the car isn't very big.. moving around on the road and parking is easy!

In addition.. the car has Power! It has what it takes to be a cabriolet!

 

 

Undiluted driving pleasure with the satisfying feeling of minimising the burden on the environment – it's all possible with the Golf Cabriolet. The powerful TSI engine is teamed up with a DSG gearbox to deliver low CO2 emissions. And ultimately that benefits not just the environment, but your wallet too. Thumbs up to this technology!

 

What's more!? The car has a "Park Assist" feature too!

It means that the car will park into the carpark lot that you've selected by itself.

Isn't that cool?

 

The functions on the dashboard are easy to control with simple designs which wouldn't make you go.. "Hey, which one to press!!?" Lol~!

 

The Radio-Navigation system has a colour TFT display for visualising maps clearly, an SD card slot for playing audio files, a built-in 30 GB hard drive as well as straightforward touchscreen operation.

 

 

Huge glove compartment in front of the front passenger seat.. and if you noticed there's black knob with a hole on it, it is actually for you to keep your things cool in the glove compartment. You can just turn the knob to create an opening for the cool air to enter to the glove compartment.

To put the down down, just press it down.

 

And to bring up the top, just pull the lever up!

By pressing the black button within the chrome lever, you would be able to bring both the side windows down.

Fronting the car.. there are LED lights which made the Golf Cabriolet looks even sportier.

 

And there are fog lamps on the bumper.

 

 

An impressive sight: the sports comfort seats with 'Vienna' leather upholstery are combined with 'Matte Chromium' inlays on the dashboard and door panelling to create a perfect visual impression. The picture is completed by the chrome bezel surrounds on the air vents and the instrument cluster dials.

You can see that leg-rooms for the rear passengers are pretty reasonable despite that the car is small.

So what about the boot space!?

 

 

You would be surprised that it is quite big!

 

 

The Golf Cabriolet has an especially sporty and elegant design at the rear. This is thanks to the dark-tinted LED tail lights, which mirror the dynamic character of the Golf Cabriolet perfectly. The sense of dynamism is further emphasised by the precise styling lines of the boot lid and rear bumper.

Toyota Vellfire 2.5 Elegance [Car Review]

The Front Lamps comes with Enhanced Visibility.

LEDs adopted for the clearance lamps, daytime headlamps, fog lamps and cornering lamps.

 

 

Rear Combination Lamps are Bold and Intense!

LEDs adopted for stop and tail lamps, reducing power consumption and contributing to fuel economy. Aero Stabilizing Fins on surface of outer lens ensure excellent handling stability.

 

The black interior looks classy and blends in well with the exterior black of the car.

 

Nice black controls which are all touch-sensitive.

 

Steering wheel with easy-to-control functions.

 

Anti-glare rear mirror function which is quite common in most of the car now.

It helps to dim down the brightness from behind hence the lights from the vehicles behind would not be glaring to the driver.

 

Door controls at the top which includes the side doors, back door, and the panoramic roof.

 

For this Toyota Vellfire.. I would have to say that LCD touch-screen has really improved a lot. It is much more touch-sensitive than some other Toyota models I drove before long time ago.

 

In addition, there is Tri-zone Air Conditioning with Nanoe.

Tri-zone full-automatic air conditioning automatically controls the temperature of the front left, front right and rear areas independently.

 

 

 

Nice push-up cup holder.

 

And I pretty like this feature of the central compartment.

This lid of the compartment can be opened from both sides either the passenger or the driver side.

 

Over here it is opened from the passenger side. It can be opened in both ways. Very innovative. :)

Space at the back is no doubt spacious and luxurious.

You will just feel like you're on the First-Class cabin on a plane with the Captain & Ottoman seats which are able to adjust up to 10 different seating configurations for maximum comfort. Seats can be reclined and the leg rest can be lifted up.

 

Climate and air-con controls for the back passengers and an option to open the panoramic roof themselves.

Boot space is definitely HUGE for such a big car.

 

And the seats can be folded down for more boot space.

 

And its not difficult to push it down with a pull of a lever at the bottom of the seat.

And with this I managed to transport a cabinet drawer which measures 86.5 x 46 x 112 cm to a customer. AWESOME!

 

Power Backdoor - For ultimate convenience, the power backdoor can be operated with a single touch.

Over here.. you can see the baby pram fits in upright jus nice. :)

 

Driving this Toyota Vellfire was indeed a rewarding drive. It is very smooth and quiet, and I can bring my entire family out for a family gathering with just this car, else we would be driving two cars out.

 

Here below I will show you some nice lounge lightings in the car when its dark at night.

 

These are just some of the lighting colours, there are actually many other colours for you to choose from like yellow and purple. And the brightness of the lights can be adjusted as well, like 50%, 100%. And to add more cool to it.. all these lounge lights can be controlled via the functions on the steering wheel, including the brightness! :)
